Obesity Forecasting, Associate Director Responsibilities
- Provide an objective, rigorous point of view for demand forecasting and product performance in collaboration with forecasting/insights, marketing, finance, value & access, and other functions.
- Lead development of obesity forecasts and ad-hoc forecasting requests.
- Analyze product performance vs. expectations (e.g., revenue potential, sales coverage, market size, penetration).
- Use internal/external datasets (e.g., Xponent, NPA, LAAD, 852) to develop and explain forecast assumptions.
- Support Quarterly Business Review, Situation Analysis, and Brand Plan with objective, data-driven insights.
- Coordinate with marketing and finance to develop analytics/forecasting inputs and assumptions.
- Work with team clients to define service level agreements for forecasting/analytics requirements and deliverables.
- Independently lead quick-turnaround projects and deliver quality assessments with limited guidance.
- Manage projects, prioritize, and execute timelines; manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Deliver strong communication and presentations; use MS PowerPoint and Excel.
- Doctorate + 3 years analytics and/or forecasting
- Master’s + 5 years
- Bachelor’s + 7 years
- Associate’s + 12 years
- High school/GED + 14 years
- 8+ years forecasting/market research/business analytics
- Advanced spreadsheets; patient-based forecast modeling (dynamic patient models) and Forecast Pro
- SQL; experience with SAS or R
- Tableau marketing analytics
- Knowledge of forecasting inputs/structure, access & reimbursement, competitive landscape
- Strong communication/presentation; strategic thinking; project management; client service orientation; collaboration
- Biopharma industry/databases knowledge; forecasting in biopharma/healthcare
