- Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses including Intro to Environmental Science, Intro to Physical Geography, Geographic Information Science (GIS), Satellite Remote Sensing, Environmental Policy (NEPA, CEQA), Natural/Cultural Resource Management, Water Resources, Environmental Sustainability, Biological Conservation.
- Develop and deliver instruction via lecture, lab, or performance courses; adapt materials for diverse learners and distance‑mediated settings.
- Advise students on programs of study, learning resources, and study skills; refer to support services as appropriate.
- Assess and evaluate student performance against course objectives and learning outcomes through assignments, projects, discussions, and exams; provide timely feedback.
- Plan, organize, and maximize instruction aligned with department and university goals; implement performance objectives detailed in the course outline of record.
- Maintain accurate records of enrollment, attendance, academic progress, curriculum, and learning outcomes; prepare and submit related reports.
- Select instructional materials such as textbooks, manuals, software, and tools in collaboration with discipline faculty; order materials following campus bookstore procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Master’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience and professional recognition.

- Comprehensive knowledge of environmental science principles and contemporary practice.
- Understanding of effective teaching principles and best practices.
- Ability to deliver content across multiple learning styles and technology platforms.
