Overview
Job Title: Senior Associate Facilities - Electrical
Location: Thousand Oaks, California (Onsite)
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced facilities professional to contribute specialized expertise in electrical systems and maintenance for a regulated pharmaceutical operation. Our team focuses on maintaining safe, reliable facility operations and supporting continuous improvement in a dynamic, compliance-driven environment.
Responsibilities- Support a safe working environment by complying with all pertinent environmental health and safety practices, rules, and regulations.
- Monitor and analyze site facility infrastructure systems, including utility and electrical systems, to identify trends and ensure operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies and programs (preventative, corrective, predictive) for cost-effective and reliable operation of plant equipment and systems.
- Lead and support system improvements, develop specifications and procedures, and drive technical investigations to resolve equipment and facility issues.
- Experience in an FDA (GMP) or comparable regulated environment, preferably within the pharmaceutical and/or biotechnology industry.
- Strong background in facilities operations with emphasis on electrical and utility systems supporting pharmaceutical facilities.
- Demonstrated experience with installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and testing of facility and utilities electrical equipment.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, or chemical) plus 2 years of relevant experience; alternatively, high school diploma/GED plus 8 years, or associate’s degree plus 4 years of relevant engineering and/or facilities maintenance experience.
