Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Process Development Associate to join our team in Thousand Oaks, CA. This on-site role involves working collaboratively within the Pre-Pivotal Drug Substance Technologies organization to develop, characterize, and support clinical drug substance manufacturing processes for early-stage programs. The position offers a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic pipeline of diverse modalities.

Responsibilities

+ Support the development, characterization, scale-up, and support of upstream and downstream processes for clinical advancement.

+ Design and execute bench-scale experiments covering end-to-end drug substance processes, including cell culture and purification operations.

+ Apply established platform approaches and utilize problem-solving skills to address experimental challenges.

+ Contribute to technology development, including process automation, through innovative thinking.

+ Expand and develop skills in both cell culture and purification to further contribute to the integrated group.

Essential Skills

+ At least one year of lab experience working on similar projects.

+ Ability to identify, develop, and implement solutions to practical problems using scientific and engineering principles.

+ Basic understanding of protein chromatography, filtration, or cell culture principles.

+ Hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture and/or purification operations.

Work Environment

This position is based entirely on-site in Thousand Oaks, CA. The role is part of an integrated bioprocess development group where cell culture and purification scientists collaborate closely. The work environment is rich, exciting, and dynamic, providing opportunities to engage in innovative projects and contribute to a diverse range of scientific modalities.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Thousand Oaks, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
