Manufacturing Engineer

To grow our team, we are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support the Company's new and ongoing production activities. This role ensures products are manufactured efficiently, safely, and in compliance with aerospace quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with design, quality, supply chain, and production teams to drive continuous improvement and support new product introductions.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and design manufacturing processes for a production facility.
  • Analyze assembly, fabrication, machining, and other processes.
  • Maximize efficiency by optimization of layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization.
  • Determine the parts, equipment, tools, and processes needed in order to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specifications.
  • Assist in providing producibility information for inclusion in project plans and helps document producibility best practices.
  • Create Work Instructions, define processes and procedures, coordinate tooling, interface with customer on manufacturing related product build issues and actions.
  • May conduct time and cost analysis of processes.
  • Oversight of plan execution by teams of technicians.
  • Redlining active travelers to incorporate changes and deviations.
  • Closely work with both design and quality engineering to meet product specifications.
  • Work closely with outside component and process suppliers.
  • Generate as-built reports for technical data package delivery.
  • Support manufacturing technicians with technical issues during production;
    Coordinates with engineering team to resolve issues.
  • Provide production schedules and lead times for assigned projects or products.
  • Support Program Management with production timelines and schedules to provide manufacturing milestones to the customer.
  • Generate work instructions and standard operating procedures to produce and test propulsion systems as required in the production and development process.
Relevant Experience and Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
