Overview

Responsibilities- Build and maintain relationships with customers across multiple channels, including in-person, by appointment, and virtually.
- Assess and attend to customers’ banking needs, obtain and process customer and account information.
- Demonstrate and educate clients on deposit and loan products and services, recommending solutions based on their goals.
- Proactively outreach and follow-up, asking questions and learning about their financial needs and banking channel preferences.
- Identify solutions for new and existing clients by engaging and communicating with them.
- Maintain working knowledge of consumer and business banking products, including digital products and services.
- Provide consistent optimal client experience, including greeting clients and processing basic transactions.
- Develop collaborative partnerships with branch team members and partners to best serve clients.
- Open new consumer and business accounts, complete service requests, and submit credit applications.
- Proactively educate clients on self‑service digital products and services.
- Leverage resources and technologies to optimize the client experience and serve clients with operational excellence and accuracy.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3–4 years of retail banking experience or equivalent training.
This position requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z. You will be subject to the required registration process, which includes a criminal background and credit check.
Preferred Skills / Experience- Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow‑up.
- Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients.
- Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures, and support systems.
- Proven customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self‑service technologies.
- Ability to explore and identify a customer’s true needs while leveraging a digital‑first mindset.
- Demonstrated basic proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer needs both reactively and proactively.
- Experience in the financial services industry preferred.
