- Process member transactions efficiently and accurately
- Provide timely and courteous service to all members
- Support the achievement of unit sales goals by identifying cross-selling opportunities
- Respond to member inquiries in person, by telephone, or by mail
- Resolve routine issues and direct complex issues to management
- Participate in employee development programs
- High School or GED
- Minimum 18 months of banking teller experience or combination of 12 months Retail Banking Operations plus 6 months cash handling or customer service experience
- Thorough knowledge of basic and complex teller transactions including relevant regulations and compliance activities
- Working knowledge of credit union products and services, documents, reports, policies and procedures
- Experience using the Microsoft suite of office products
- Experience using the Symitar Data system or similar banking system
Demonstrates expertise in processing member transactions and providing exceptional customer service while adhering to banking regulations and compliance standards. Proficient in identifying cross-selling opportunities and utilizing banking systems to enhance operational efficiency.
