Data Management Manager
The Data Management Manager will be responsible for operating, enhancing, and governing the U.S. commercial Data Lake to enable data‑driven decisions across two therapeutic areas.
Responsibilities- Lead the U.S. commercial Data Lake as business owner for two therapeutic areas, overseeing platform operations including data governance, data quality, hygiene, and administration to support data‑driven decision making.
- Oversee onboarding and setup of new data sources and datasets for analytics, reporting, incentive compensation, and new product launches.
- Serve as product owner for platform enhancement requests from cross‑functional stakeholders (analytics teams, data sciences, forecasting, field force effectiveness), leading prioritization and end‑to‑end implementation.
- Develop data services capabilities, integrating data from internal and external sources, and enable data science, artificial intelligence, and machine‑learning capabilities to provide insights and solve business problems.
- Develop analytics applications and collaborate with software engineers to build data processing pipelines using AWS and Databricks technologies.
- Build pipelines using programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
- Collaborate with data architects, business SMEs, and data scientists to innovate and optimize the data ecosystem, enhancing customer support and scaling architecture for future growth while piloting new tools and techniques.
- Lead and implement new data platform capabilities through proof‑of‑concept initiatives and technology evaluations to streamline processes, automate and optimize data pipelines, improving data quality and accelerating data availability.
- Review use cases, requirements, and technical designs to identify risks, and write technical specifications, flow charts, and architectural diagrams for solutions.
- May telecommute.
