Responsibilities Serve as strategic analytics thought partner to Therapeutic Area Field Medical and Medical Strategy leaders, framing ambiguous business and scientific questions, pressure-testing hypotheses, and translating insights into clear strategic choices and recommendations. Lead the development, deployment, and continuous improvement of insight capabilities across the Field Medical organization, including advanced analytics, AI/ML applications, and scalable insight frameworks. Own the customer universe and omnichannel targeting framework, ensuring outputs are strategically aligned, KPI impact driven, operationally actionable, and responsive to evolving therapeutic area priorities.

Lead a high-performing team of US-based analysts while coordinating delivery across the Amgen India team, setting priorities, building capabilities, coaching talent, and ensuring consistent quality, speed, and strategic relevance of analytics deliverables. Drive cross-functional engagement with Global Field Medical Excellence, Sci Comms, US Strategy & Performance, medical strategy teams, data science partners, and other stakeholders to deliver an integrated, enterprise-ready insights capability.

Lead strategic initiatives and AI-enabled business solutions across the full lifecycle, from business problem definition and prioritization through solution design, user acceptance, implementation, adoption, and post-launch optimization. Design and facilitate insight-driven forums, including Quarterly Medical Reviews, that move leadership discussions beyond reporting toward implications, trade-offs, decisions, and measurable action. Advance the analytics organization’s capabilities by identifying emerging methods, new data sources, external best practices, and fit-for-purpose tools that improve strategic insight generation and decision support.

Basic Qualifications:
