Salary: $140,000 - $185,000 per year.
Experience Level5+ years of experience defending General Liability and/or Personal Injury claims. Experience with public entity law is a plus.
What You’ll Do- Independently manage a full caseload of civil defense matters from start to finish.
- Handle all phases of litigation: pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial prep.
- Draft client and carrier reports, analyze claims, and identify defense strategy.
- Participate in settlement conferences, court appearances, and mediations.
- Collaborate with firm leadership and mentor junior attorneys as needed.
- California Bar license in good standing.
- Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
- Experience in litigation strategy, client communication, and courtroom appearances.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and work autonomously.
- Bonus points for experience with public entities or municipalities.
