100% onsite at a large-scale biopharmaceutical manufacturing campus in Thousand Oaks, CA
ScheduleRotates between day and swing shifts every six months. Initial schedule is day shift, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM PT, through end of June. Transitions to swing shift, 11:00 AM–8:00 PM PT, for the following six months, then rotates back to days.
Compensation$26-$29/hr
Role SummaryThe Associate Supply Chain (Dispensing) supports the site's Dispensing team by processing, picking, dispensing, staging, and delivering materials required for biopharmaceutical manufacturing. This is a fast-paced, warehouse-based biotech environment requiring strict adherence to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), Good Documentation Practices (GDP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety requirements, and cleanroom gowning protocols.
Responsibilities- Follow SOPs and departmental procedures with strict adherence to cGMP requirements.
- Support processing of materials for manufacturing facilities, including picking, dispensing, and staging activities.
- Perform material handling in a warehouse environment, including safe operation of Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIVs); onsite PIV training provided.
- Gown to Grade 8–9 and work in classified dispensary areas.
- Identify, escalation, and support resolution of risks related to dispensing, warehouse, or manufacturing support activities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to complete warehousing and dispensing operational activities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, work center team activities, safety programs, and internal operational excellence projects.
- Provide support during regulatory inspections and be prepared to present information to auditors as required.
- Identify operational issues, roadblocks, and process improvement opportunities; communicate solutions to area management.
- Collaborate with distribution teams to meet evolving business needs.
- Complete all transactions promptly, accurately, and in compliance with procedures.
- Availability for day, swing, weekend, and holiday shifts based on production needs.
- Ability to work under general direction and seek assistance as needed.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. and push/pull heavy loads using material handling equipment.
- Ability to support warehouse functions related to shipment, dispensing, and material movement per procedural guidance.
- Willingness to perform physical work in an onsite warehouse/cleanroom-adjacent environment.
- GMP/GDP experience in shipping, dispensing, warehousing, manufacturing, and/or quality.
- Experience supporting documentation revisions within an internal documentation control system.
- Familiarity with digital quality management and quality tracking systems, including deviation investigation support and ownership of minor deviations and CAPAs.
