RN‑Registered Nurse // First Assist Onsite Contract Starts 6/22/2026 (13 weeks)

Day Shift – 10 hours/day, 4 days/week

Schedule:

Monday‑Thursday 6:45 am‑5:15 pm or Monday‑Friday 6:45 am‑3:15 pm. Must have license at time of submission.

Location:

215 W Janss Rd, Thousand Oaks, CA 91360 – 1st floor, Surgery Department.

• Number of Operating Rooms: 9
• Number of Staff: 50
• Day Shift Staff: 1 CNC, 7 RN, 7 surgical techs
• Night Shift Staff: 1 CNC/RN, 1 surgical tech
• Patient ratio: 1:1
• Equipment:
  DaVinci Robot
• Electronic medical record:
  Meditech

• At least 2 years current experience
• First Assist experience with DaVinci Robot, Ortho Spine, Gynecology, Neurology, and General Surgery

• Spine and Neurosurgery instrument experience
• CNOR certification
• Strong physician relationship and communication skills

• Lumbar/Cervical Spine procedures
• Spinal Fusion and Instrumentation cases
• Robotic General, Gynecological, and Urological procedures
• Craniotomy and Neurosurgery procedures

• Surgical anticipatory skills, strong communication and critical thinking skills, self‑directed, collaborative

• RN license, RNFA certification, BLS/ACLS

• Los Robles Hospital main OR and Thousand Oaks Surgical Hospital (TOSH)

• Hospital provided scrubs (scrub color/attire)

• AORN guidelines

• Overtime may be anticipated, including staying longer to finish a case.
