The Role Fertility & Surgical Associates is an infertility and surgical medical office seeking a caring PACU R.N. to join our dedicated care team on a part-time basis. This role is based in the onsite recovery room of our Thousand Oaks facility, where you’ll work alongside a CRNA, 1–2 Medical Assistants, and one other part-time PACU Nurse. We are looking for a quick-study team player who thrives under pressure and brings compassion to every patient interaction.

What You'll DoYou'll be hands-on from day one, providing direct patient care and keeping our surgical day running smoothly:

Perform IV placement, vital signs monitoring, EKG administration, and medication administration

Provide Post-Operative (PACU) recovery room care and monitoring

Assist in surgery scheduling and care coordination

Deliver patient education and discharge instructions

Maintain accurate and timely patient care documentation

Demonstrate professional skills and clinical judgment in all patient interactions

Provide direct patient care under the California Nursing Practice Act What We're Looking For Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program with a valid California RN License Current CPR, ACLS, and BCLS certification

Minimum 2 years of clinical experience; minimum 1 year in women's health (new R.N. graduates willing to train are encouraged to apply)
Knowledge of examination, diagnostic, and treatment room procedures

Skilled in charting, documentation, and OSHA, FDA, and HIPAA compliance

Computer literate with strong keyboard skills (55+ wpm)
Excellent organization, written and verbal communication, and multitasking abilities

Schedule

This is a part-time (up to 29 hours per week), in-person position based at our Thousand Oaks, CA facility. Start times fluctuate based on the surgical schedule, and candidates must be available for rotating weekends (2 weekends per month) and holidays. You’ll work primarily in our onsite recovery room alongside a CRNA, 1–2 Medical Assistants, and one other part-time PACU Nurse.
