Job Summary And Qualifications- You will ensure high quality, patient-centered care through direction and supervision of all house-wide functions during a designated shift, and participate as an active member of the nursing management team and assumes authority to manage all activities and personnel in conjunction with and in the absence of hospital administration
- You will assigns nursing staff to specific clinical areas within the hospital to meet patient care needs and adjust staffing by reassigning staff, assigning PRN and agency personnel, and coordinating overtime
- You will serve as authority in the absence of other members of the nursing management/administrative team and manage admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care
- You will function as a resource person for staff members and provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement
- Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
- 5+ years experience in clinical practice required
- Current license as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation
- BLS Certification required within 30 days of start
- ACLS Certification preferred
