Salary Estimate: $82,180.80 - $ / year

• Comprehensive knowledge of essential elements of the Central Service process.
• Plan, organize and monitor activities of the unit to meet patient, physician and unit needs.
• Ensure appropriate resource utilization in a cost‑effective manner and provide an environment conducive to professional growth for personnel.
• Operationalize institutional and unit goals and objectives, and report to the Director of Surgical Services.

• Associate Arts Degree and specialty certification preferred (Certified Surgical Technician acceptable).
• Two years of management experience preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years progressive Central Service or surgery experience required.
• Comprehensive knowledge of sterilization principles, theories and practices and knowledge of new modalities of surgical techniques required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated teaching and precepting skills required.
