Assignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.
ScheduleShift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Job DescriptionThe Telemetry Unit is dedicated to providing exceptional care to cardiac and neuro patients. The unit currently has 30 beds, with plans to open an additional 12 overflow beds. Our strong team of 50 core registered nurses is committed to excellent patient outcomes and compassionate care.
Responsibilities- Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry.
- Administer medications and manage IV therapies.
- Care for patients post-heart cath, pacemaker, ablation, watchman, valve repair, and cardioversion procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to provide high-quality care.
- Ensure accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Current RN license in the state of California.
- ACLS certification.
- BLS certification.
- NIH Stroke Scale certification.
- Proficient in EKG interpretation, IV start, and chest tube management.
