Payrate: $43.00 - $45.00/hr.
Summary: The ideal candidate for the Scientist Senior Associate role will have hands‑on experience with mammalian cell culture and a working knowledge of flow cytometry, gained through industry or academic lab environments. This role is highly execution‑focused and routine in nature, requiring comfort with lab‑based work, structured documentation, and repeatable experimental processes. Candidates should hold a BS or MS degree (PhD candidates are not a fit) and demonstrate strong attention to detail, reliability, and willingness to learn additional immunology‑related techniques such as ELISA/Luminex, immune cell isolation, or liquid handling.
Prior industry experience is preferred but not required if technical fundamentals are solid. This is a fully on‑site, lab‑based position, with flexibility in hours after training and no weekend work expected.
- Execution of high-throughput cell-based assays using primary immune cells isolated from PBMC. Follow established protocols and aid in assay optimization.
- Operation of liquid handling systems (Hamilton Vantage) to carry out high-throughput flow cytometry staining. Document experiments in the electronic lab notebook.
- Carry‑out data analysis and communicate data to key stakeholders.
- Maintain a safe and organized laboratory environment. Perform other duties as assigned.
- BS degree with experience in immunology research, specifically T cell immunology.
- Cell culture experience with primary cells (PBMCs) with knowledge of specific immune cell type isolations using MACS (Monocytes, CD4+ T cells, B cells).
- Experience performing ELISA and ELISPOT.
- Familiar with automating cell-based assays.
- Detailed knowledge of multi-color flow cytometry operation and data analysis, including experience performing intracellular cytokine staining.
- Presents scientific/technical information within the group and across functions.
The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is $43.00 - $45.00/hr final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select.
