What

You’ll Do
  • Develop advanced power and thermal management technologies for military and commercial applications
  • Design, build, and validate prototype systems to demonstrate new concepts
  • Conduct experimental research in heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and micro‑fluidics
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define system requirements and identify solution pathways
  • Analyze data, interpret results, and refine designs using sound engineering judgment
  • Contribute to the advancement of innovative R&D initiatives within the Power and Thermal‑Fluids group
What You Need
  • M.S. or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or a related field (0–5 years of experience; higher experience considered)
  • Strong technical background in heat transfer and fluid dynamics
  • Hands‑on laboratory and experimental research experience
  • Proficiency in data analysis, interpretation, and technical problem‑solving
  • Familiarity with modeling and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS Fluent, Icepak, Workbench) is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in dynamic, cross‑functional teams
  • Passion for innovation, continuous learning, and developing cutting‑edge technologies
  • US citizenship due to access restrictions

Salary Range

$90,800.00 – $
