The RoleWe are hiring a Research Associate, Cell Biology for a contract-to-hire opportunity supporting core laboratory operations and experimental biology within a multidisciplinary research team.
The role is highly hands-on and combines day-to-day lab operations with execution of in vitro and ex vivo experiments supporting discovery-stage research. It is well-suited for someone with strong wet-lab fundamentals who is comfortable working across multiple assay types in a fast-paced research environment.
Responsibilities- Support routine laboratory operations including reagent prep, sample processing, and inventory management
- Perform cell culture maintenance and support in vitro and ex vivo experimental workflows
- Conduct biochemical and cell-based assays in accordance with SOPs
- Process, document, and communicate experimental results in a timely manner
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Chemistry, DMPK, and Pathology/Toxicology
- B.S. or M.S. in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related field
- 2+ years of relevant wet-lab experience in academia or industry
- Hands-on experience with cell culture and basic molecular biology techniques
- Experience processing blood, serum/plasma, or tissue samples preferred
- Familiarity with ELISAs and standard biochemical assays strongly preferred
- Strong documentation skills and proficiency with Excel and scientific software (Graph Pad Prism preferred)
- Experience with ELNs and attention to detail in data recording
- Collaborative, organized, and comfortable in a fast-paced lab environment
