Role:
Rare Disease Biology Scientist focused on discovering and advancing therapies for rare diseases, particularly involving autoimmune and tissue remodeling mechanisms.
Responsibilities:- design and execute in vitro/ex vivo studies to investigate disease pathways such as immune dysregulation and fibroblast activation
- generate data supporting target validation and program progression
- integrate experimental, genetic, and clinical data to develop mechanistic insights
- contribute to innovative assay development
- collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external partners
- present findings internally.
- PhD in Immunology, Cell Biology, or related field; or Master's with 2+ years or Bachelor's with 4+ years research experience.
- expertise in fibroblast biology
- tissue remodeling
- cellular assay design
- and advanced data analysis with transcriptomic or proteomic approaches
- experience working with primary human tissues and advanced in vitro models
- familiarity with AI-driven tools is advantageous.
- focus on autoimmune diseases like Thyroid Eye Disease, tissue remodeling, fibrosis, and inflammatory pathways
- experience in translational research and complex biological data interpretation.
