Senior Associate

Payrate: $23.58 - $24.50/hr.

The Pivotal Attribute Sciences group is seeking a candidate for a largely laboratory-based position. The candidate will be responsible for driving cutting‑edge analytical support and technology development impacting process and product development teams across the company's portfolio. The role involves working cross‑functionally and across Process Development sites to use analytical science for efficient development and scalable understanding of processes and products in the pipeline.

• Drive analytical support and technology development for process and product development teams.
• Work cross‑functionally across Process Development sites.
• Conduct sample analysis by HPLC, UPLC, dissolution, KF, and document results.
• Develop methods and generate complete, accurate, and concise documentation using electronic systems and laboratory notebooks.
• Operate specialized laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
• Perform general laboratory housekeeping activities.
• Complete training on assigned tasks and comply with safety guidelines and site‑specific procedures.

• B.S. or M.S. degree in Analytical Chemistry, Life Sciences, or related technical discipline.
• 2 years of experience performing analytical testing.

• Master’s degree in Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical, or Life Sciences related discipline.
• Strong theoretical understanding, research in, and hands‑on experience in small molecule/peptide analysis in support of process development/scale‑up activities and formulation development in GMP and non‑GMP environments.
• Experience with wet chemistry, chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques, i.e., HPLC, LCMS, GC, GCMS, dissolution, KF, pH meter, FTIR, UV, Raman, and NIR, etc.
• Demonstrate independence and ability to produce quality results under minimal direction.
• High energy individual who can multi‑task and handle a fast‑paced, dynamic work environment.

The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is $23.58 - $24.50/hr non‑exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience.
