** Sign Shop Maintenance Technician - JLL
**** What this job involves:
** The Sign Shop Maintenance Technician is responsible for the production, installation, and maintenance of various types of signage and graphics. This role requires technical skills in operating sign-making equipment, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

*** What your day-to-day will look like:
*** Operate and maintain sign production equipment including large format printers, vinyl cutters, laminators, and other specialized machinery.
* Produce high-quality signs, banners decals, and other graphic products according to specifications and customer requirements.
* Prepare substrates and materials for printing and application, ensuring proper surface preparation and material selection.
* Install signage at various locations, including interior and exterior installations, requiring work at heights and use of ladders or lifts.
* Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
* Read and interpret work orders, design files, and technical specifications to complete projects accurately.
* Maintain inventory of materials and supplies, alerting management when stock levels are low.
* Ensure quality control throughout the production process, inspecting finished products for defects or errors.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with safety regulations.
* Collaborate with designers, project managers, and customers to ensure project requirements are met.

* Required Qualifications:

*** High school diploma or equivalent.
* Knowledge of various sign materials, substrates, and adhesives.
* Ability to read and understand design files and technical drawings.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
* Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work at heights using ladders or lifts.
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
* Excellent time management and organizational skills.
** Working Environment:
*** This position involves working in a production shop environment with exposure to various materials, adhesives, and equipment noise.
* Work may require standing for extended periods, bending, reaching, and working in various weather conditions during installations.
* Occasional weekend or evening work may be required to meet project deadlines or installation schedules.
