Financial Reporting and Program Support Lead

River Bend is seeking a full-time, in-office Financial Reporting and Program Support Lead based in Thunder Bay, Ontario. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with clients, organizing information, improving processes, and helping teams meet reporting and program requirements with confidence. The successful candidate will work closely with First Nation clients and internal team members to support financial reporting, program coordination, documentation, follow-up, and internal system development.

• Preparing, reviewing, and organizing financial and program reporting
• Working directly with First Nation clients to support reporting requirements and internal processes
• Assisting with the development and improvement of client systems, documentation, and workflows
• Supporting program coordination, follow-up, and deadline tracking
• Providing practical financial insight to help clients and internal teams make informed decisions
• Helping ensure accuracy, consistency, compliance, and clear communication across client files
• Supporting stronger internal systems that allow client organizations to operate more effectively

• Strong experience in financial reporting, financial planning, finance, or related administrative reporting
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work directly with clients in a professional, respectful, and practical manner
• Experience supporting reporting, compliance, programs, or operations within an organization
• Comfortable working with financial systems, spreadsheets, and reporting tools
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Ability to work on-site in Thunder Bay and travel to client communities when required
• Experience working with First Nation organizations, communities, or Indigenous-led entities is considered a strong asset

Salary range: $100,000 to $110,000 per year, plus comprehensive benefits and a Defined Contribution Pension Plan.
