Position: Cost Analyst at Equinox Gold
Location: Greenstone

Contribute to mining operations at Equinox Gold as a Cost Analyst. Utilize strong financial analysis skills to support budget creation, cost tracking, and strategic recommendations.

As a full-time Cost Analyst, you will report to the Controller and work primarily onsite at the GGM office. Your key responsibilities include monitoring budget performance, analyzing mining costs, and preparing detailed financial reports to guide decision-making. Strong skills in financial compliance and mining industry knowledge are essential for optimizing cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with managers to develop annual budgets and forecasts

• Analyze budget variances and recommend improvements

• Track mining costs and identify efficiency opportunities

• Optimize cost allocation and control measures

• Prepare comprehensive financial reports for management

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Cost Analyst in mining or similar sectors

• Strong financial principles knowledge, especially in cost accounting

• Proficiency in SAP processes and financial analysis tools

• Excellent data interpretation and analytical skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
