Position: Senior Geologist at Hemlo Mining Corp.
Location: Marathon

Drive exploration and resource growth as a Senior Geologist with Hemlo Mining Corp. in Northwestern Ontario. This role focuses on safety, teamwork, and advanced geological expertise to enhance the Hemlo Mine operations.

As a crucial member of the Geology team, you will report to the Geology Superintendent. This position requires a safety-driven professional with a strong background in mineral exploration, technical skills, and leadership experience.

Your role includes collaboration with Mine and Exploration Geologists on diverse geological projects, ensuring efficient planning and execution of activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage mine exploration activities

• Execute drilling, mapping, and sampling tasks

• Oversee reconciliation and production control efforts

• Collaborate with a diverse geological team

• Maintain adherence to safety and operational standards

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years' experience in mineral exploration

• Undergraduate degree in Geology or equivalent

• Registered or eligible for Professional Geoscientist status

• Advanced knowledge of geological principles

• Proficiency in mining and database software
