Industrial Electrician Position

Take on the role of Industrial Electrician at Domtar's Thunder Bay Sawmill. This full-time position emphasizes health and safety, as well as advanced maintenance tasks to ensure operational excellence.

You will be an integral part of the maintenance team, reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Your role will include following safety protocols, enhancing equipment through preventive maintenance, and collaborating effectively with production staff. Adeptness with CMMS and an openness to shift scheduling are key for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Adhere to health and safety protocols on-site

• Work closely with cross-functional teams

• Manage work orders via Maintenance CMMS

• Execute preventive maintenance tasks on equipment

• Analyze and improve control and servo systems

Requirements:

• Industrial or Construction Electrical certification required

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar field

• Committed to safety and quality standards

• Proven teamwork and communication skills

• Flexibility for 12-hour shifts needed
