In this position, reporting to the Mine Maintenance Supervisor, you will be tasked with performing preventive maintenance and repairs on mining equipment. Your ability to interpret technical manuals and provide insightful recommendations for improvements will enhance operational efficiency. You must also maintain a strong commitment to workplace safety throughout your work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct preventative maintenance and complete overhauls

• Suggest methods for repair improvements

• Interpret work orders and technical specifications

• Prepare accurate job-specific documentation

• Follow all safety regulations in the workplace

Requirements:

• Valid Red Seal Journeyperson Welding certification

• Previous experience in an industrial or mining environment

• Full English proficiency and strong communication skills

• Ability to work comfortably at heights and lift heavy objects

• Willingness to engage in repetitive tasks
