Greenstone Gold Mines is hiring Mill Maintenance Electricians for its Greenstone Mine in Geraldton, Ontario. These electricians will maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems supporting mill operations, including switch gear up to 13.8KV, motors, VFDs, and distribution systems. The role is ideal for Red Seal-certified electricians with mining maintenance experience seeking high-level industrial electrical work in a large-scale open-pit mining operation.

What you’ll need:

Red Seal Journeyperson Electrical certification
Valid inter-provincial trade qualification
2+ years related mining maintenance experience
Advanced knowledge of electrical systems and medium voltage switch gear
Ability to work at heights and in industrial environments
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and within a team

What will make you stand out:
Experience maintaining mill electrical distribution systems
Medium voltage termination experience (up to 13.8KV)
Experience mentoring apprentices
Strong preventative maintenance and documentation skills
