In this challenging field-based position, you will work a schedule of 20 days on and 8 days off, ensuring critical mechanical support for field crews. Your experience in diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues will directly impact the operational reliability of equipment used in transmission line construction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Repair heavy duty equipment like diggers and cranes
• Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic software
• Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
• Maintain service records for inspections and repairs
• Collaborate with supervisors to prioritize equipment repairs
Requirements:
• Journeyperson or 4th Year Apprentice certification
• Experience with wire stringing equipment
• Proficiency in Jal Test diagnostic software
• Valid Class G driver’s license
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs in outdoor conditions
Utilize your technical skills to ensure the success of the Waasigan Transmission Line project.
