Impala Canada is looking for an Advanced Development Miner responsible for preparing development headings. Candidates should have expertise with Mac Lean Bolters and other mining equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency. This role operates on a 14x14 rotation, reinforcing Impala's commitment to its workers through health benefits and travel allowances.
Key Responsibilities:
• Demonstrate proficiency in operating various mining machinery
• Install ground support and advance drilling as required
• Handle loading and blasting operations according to safety standards
• Execute tasks assigned by the mining supervisor
• Maintain workplace housekeeping and quality control
Requirements:
• Proven knowledge in Development Mining techniques
• Strong advocacy for safety in mining practices
• Capability to oversee less skilled workers
