Reporting to the Team Leader, this role involves structural steel fabrication, assembly, and mentoring of junior fitters. With at least three years in the field, you’ll interpret blueprints and operate welding equipment while ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Your experience will empower you to make a significant impact on project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and fit steel assemblies per project specifications

• Use welding equipment for joining metal segments

• Set up and operate various tools required for tasks

• Mentor apprentices to enhance their skills

• Conduct safety checks on cranes and equipment

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of fitting experience

• Proficient in reading blueprints and measurements

• Current CWB certification for FCAW or MCAW

• Knowledgeable about health and safety practices

• Strong attention to detail and organization skills
