Interior Designer

The Scale Collective is an internationally published boutique design firm focusing on high end residential and commercial interior design and, art consulting. Our work includes serene penthouses and seaside estates, whimsical commercial projects, and curated artful residences in California and Miami. Our projects are defined by a sense of place and purpose and a desire to enhance users everyday lives through exceptional design.

We reference design elements from the art deco, seventies, French modernism and are inspired by various cultures in our world travels. We are looking for an mid or senior level Interior Designer to join our team and work on residential and commercial projects. The candidate should have design experience on high-end residential projects where he/she was involved in all phases of the interior design process. The ideal candidate would be a gifted designer who is organized and able to vision and manage parts of a project.

• Workingwithdesign team to create and to prepare client presentations
• Sourcing of furniture, lighting and fabric sand finishes
• Pricing out of all selections, vendor correspondence,allsample requests and returns
• Updating and maintaining
  
  Furniture + IA plansinAutoCAD
• Assist with purchasing and invoicing for on behalf of project
• Creating, updating and Maintaining Elevation sin CAD, including Rendered elevations
• Maintaining and managing project budgets and timelines and overall day to day project needs and expectations

• Minimum4+years’ experience
• Professional Degreein Interior Design or related fieldis preferred
• Be able to showcase finished workin your portfolio and discuss what your role was
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Google Sheets, Adobe InDesign, and Photoshop, Sketchup or Rhino, Programa(this is a plus but not mandatory)
• Passionate, self-motivated designer, able to take direction easily and collaborative mindset
• Ability to work in a teamand manage yourself, your time and be well organized
• Drivers license and transportation required

The Scale Collective offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience. Holiday pay, sick time and a week off between Christmas and New Years, and Health & Transportation reimbursements.

This is a hybrid position located in Marin County, California. Candidates in the San Francisco Bay Area strongly preferred. Will consider remote for the right candidates.
