Saint Hilary Parish in Tiburon, CA is seeking a Co-Leader for our Sunday morning Jesus Jam Children's Program for children ages 3-9
Responsibilities- Curriculum development-Create and implement age-appropriate curriculum that's relevant, engaging and aligned with the teachings of the Catholic faith. This includes our message series, videos, music and games.
- Recruit, train, support volunteers and provide leadership and guidance to ensure effective teamwork
- Lead and oversee Sunday Jesus Jam sessions and special events such as annual Jingle Jam
- a sturdy personal and active faith in Jesus
- desire to share faith with children
- passion for worship and spiritual growth,
- desire to serve
- strong communication, organization and interpersonal skills
- comfortable singing, dancing and playing games in front of large groups of children
- relevant work experience, such as teaching, or catechist work in a church or parochial school setting
- openness to learning and growing through workshops, conferences, books and articles
- ability to use technology proficiently in session planning
- Committed to furthering the Jesus Jam mission to be a place where every kid loves to be...loved, joyful, kind, grateful, happy, faith-filled, etc...
- Committed to the Jesus Jam guiding vision for kids to:
- EXPLORE a special kid-sized gospel/Catholic message told through high-energy, interactive stories, songs, videos and games
- LEARN about Jesus in imaginative and relatable ways
- CONNECT with peers and have fun
- DISCOVER how following Jesus can help kids be their best selves, build up God's kingdom here on earth and serve God by loving others.
Saint Hilary Church is a parish of approximately 750 registered households located just north of San Francisco.
