The Senior Accountant role at PALFINGER North America is responsible for supporting accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and contributing to key accounting processes across month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities. This position plays a vital role in ensuring financial integrity and operational efficiency within a dynamic, international organization committed to collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

• Support the Financial Controller with day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting activities
• Lead and participate in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements including balance sheet and income statement accounts
• Perform intercompany and bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
• Manage sales and use tax filings and support state and local tax audits as needed

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Accounting required
• 5+ years of accounting experience with strong knowledge of GAAP
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong overall Microsoft Office skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to prioritize tasks, adapt to changing priorities, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
