Job Description

The Senior Accountant role is responsible for supporting accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and contributing to key accounting processes across month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities. This position plays a vital role in ensuring financial integrity and operational efficiency within a dynamic, international organization committed to collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

+ Support accurate financial reporting through meticulous accounting practices.

+ Maintain strong internal controls to safeguard financial integrity.

+ Contribute to month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.

+ Ensure operational efficiency in all accounting processes.

Essential Skills

+ Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Accounting.

+ 5+ years of accounting experience with strong knowledge of GAAP.

+ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong overall Microsoft Office skills.

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

+ Ability to prioritize tasks, adapt to changing priorities, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

+ Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is a plus.

Work Environment

This role operates within a fast-paced, dynamic, international organization dedicated to collaboration and continuous improvement. The position requires strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and demands a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tiffin, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $43.00/hr.
