Job Summary
As a Facilities Specialist, you'll oversee team activities that coordinate with clients, vendors, and contractors to make sure work orders are complete. This is a temporary role covering a leave for the Facilities Coordinator position, supporting a small maintenance team of two technicians.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle all procurement ordering for the team, including ordering supplies as needed
- Create work orders when service from a third-party contractor is required, generating purchase orders that are sent to vendors
- Utilize MyBuy and Service Insight platforms in daily operations
- Enter and manage work orders
- Support an additional site remotely
Required Skills
- Good administrative skills, including typing, filing, and the ability to scan and manage email
- Attention to detail
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, including MS Teams, PowerPoint, and Excel
Preferred Skills
- Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting (a significant plus)
- Experience with Joint Commission standards
- Experience with My Buy
Education Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Required Experience
- Approximately 5 years of administrative experience preferred; client is open when it comes to experience level

- A CBRE Standard background check plus a 9-panel drug screen will be required for the selected candidate.
