Due to growth, a well-established manufacturer is seeking a Mechanical Designer to join their team. The Mechanical Designer will be trained by long-term employees and will work with a team of engineers to complete new equipment projects. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Design mechanical-related products from start to finish
- Monitor project timelines and ensure they are completed on schedule
- Support manufacturing with any product or technical questions
- Work with electrical engineers to finalize project specifications
- Review blueprints and utilize tape measures
- Utilize 2D and 3D software to complete design projects
- Support R&D projects and new designs
- Work on up to four design projects at a time in various stages
- Other duties as directed by management

- Typically work a straight 40-hour workweek, either five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts

Candidates are preferred to be local to the Tiffin, OH area. There is not a relocation package available at this time.
