Travel Occupational Therapist - Home Health

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for a Home Health position requiring a minimum of 1 year of recent OT experience, OASIS proficiency, and HCHB familiarity.

Job Details

• Home health setting serving a geriatric patient population,

• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00-17:00),

• Average caseload of 5-7 patients per day, to be confirmed during interview,

• Productivity expectation of 6 points per day / 30 points per week,

• Territory covers up to a 60-mile radius from the hub/office; flexibility with territory is expected,

• EMR: HCHB (Homecare Homebase) experience required,

• iPad provided for clinical use,

• Mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate,

• Local candidates accepted at the travel rate,

Job Requirements

• Active OT license required; license in hand required for consideration,

• Minimum 1 year of recent, relevant OT experience required,

• OASIS experience required for staff completing Start of Care (SOC),

• Proficiency in HCHB (Homecare Homebase) required,

• Current BLS certification required,

• Active driver's license and personal vehicle required,

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position,

Additional Information

• Orientation is held on Tuesdays; modules are completed during orientation,

• Timely documentation and communication are mandatory,

• On-call rotation may be required - discuss during interview,

• No scheduled on-call requirement as part of the standard assignment,

• Travel pairs are accepted; however, each traveler will be assigned their own territory and must have their own transportation,

• Former permanent employees must have been separated for a minimum of 6 months and receive HR approval before returning as a traveler,

• Any requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application,

• Scrubs required in any color; jeans are not permitted,

• Personal cell phone is not required; an iPad will be provided,
