Concordance Healthcare Solutions has an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Director in the Tiffin, OH location. In this leadership role, you will provide strategic direction and oversight for key human resources functions with a strong focus on employee relations, leave management, organizational compliance, and workforce engagement across the organization. The Human Resources Director serves as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, managers, and employees, driving initiatives that support a positive workplace culture while ensuring consistency and compliance.
This role is responsible for leading and overseeing employee relations matters, workplace investigations, payroll, benefits, Workers Compensation program, guiding performance management, and completion of all onboarding and offboarding processes. A strong understanding of employment law, regulatory compliance, and leave administration is critical, along with the ability to interpret evolving legal requirements and apply sound judgment in complex situations.
The Human Resources Director will partner cross-functionally with operational leaders and internal departments to develop and implement strategies that align with organizational goals, strengthen employee engagement, and promote a culture of accountability. This position requires exceptional leadership capability, strategic thinking, discretion in handling highly sensitive matters, and the ability to influence decision-making at all levels of the organization while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.
Essential Functions:- Lead and manage the HR function by aligning departmental goals with the strategic objectives of Concordance Healthcare Solutions. Foster cross-functional collaboration to ensure HR initiatives support business needs and workforce development.
- Serve as a primary HR advisor to managers and employees, providing coaching, issue resolution, and guidance on complex HR matters including performance management, conflict resolution, and compliance.
- Oversee the administration of all leave of absence programs, including FMLA, ADA, Short/Long-Term Disability, and USERRA. Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, manage the interactive ADA process, and collaborate with payroll and benefits to ensure seamless employee experiences.
- Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures. Proactively monitor legal developments to ensure compliance and mitigate risk. Lead continuous improvement efforts for efficiency and compliance.
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures for all HR functions. Ensure timely documentation, proper tracking, and data integrity across all leave and compliance programs.
- Support and oversee the delivery of performance management, employee engagement, talent development, and promotion processes. Analyze trends and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Oversee employee relations investigations in a fair and timely manner. Collaborate with leaders to deliver consistent, policy-based resolutions and administer corrective actions as necessary.
- Develop and deliver training to employees and managers on HR-related topics, including new policies, the employee handbook, Drug-Free Workplace (DFWP), and other compliance requirements.
