Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee specialized projects from inception to completion. You will manage the day-to-day execution, administration, and logistics for complex installations in high-profile venues like theaters, arenas, stadiums, entertainment facilities, and large churches around the United States and other countries . This role acts as the central link between general contractors, facility owners, labor unions, and internal teams to deliver projects safely, on budget, and on schedule.
Salary will be based on experience and qualifications.
- Execution: Direct the daily logistics, administrative details, and execution of complex construction and equipment installation projects.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate directly with General Contractors, Owners, Directors, and Venue Managers regarding timelines, building procedures, and trade conflicts (HVAC, fire sprinklers, etc.).
- Scheduling: Formulate master project schedules, and align timelines across department managers to ensure seamless internal collaboration.
- Documentation: Oversee the preparation and delivery of submittal drawings, technical product data sheets, and comprehensive Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and direct multi-disciplinary field crews and installers.
- Technical Reviews: Lead thorough blueprint and submittal drawing reviews with field teams prior to deployment to ensure zero field errors.
- Subcontractor & Labor Management: Manage labor needs, including setting up calls with local Unions while navigating complex union rules, minimums, jurisdiction, and holidays.
- Fleet & Asset Management: Maintain, organize, and prepare dedicated installation assets, vehicles (fleet vans), and heavy equipment (chain motors, rigging, lifts).
- Inventory Control: Implement strict post-project closeout procedures, ensuring all specialized hardware and unused gear are returned to warehouse inventory.
- Certifications: Coordinate and track specialized workforce trainings, including Aerial Lift/MEWP operation, ETC systems, OSHA courses, and First Aid/CPR.
- Project Hand-off: Conduct formal owner training sessions to successfully hand over operational systems to venue technical staff.
- Experience: 3+ years of project management experience within the construction, architectural, theatrical staging, or heavy equipment installation industries.
- Sector Knowledge: Proven history working on commercial jobsites and projects. Working on theatres, arenas, stadiums, or places of worship is a plus.
- Technical Literacy: Ability to read architectural, structural, and mechanical drawings/blueprints a plus.
- Skills: Exceptional organizational, negotiation, and cross-departmental communication skills.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
