Maintenance Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented Maintenance Coordinator to support maintenance operations in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role serves as the key link between maintenance technicians, production teams, and management—ensuring smooth communication, timely equipment repairs, and effective execution of preventive maintenance programs.

• Provide coordination and hands-on technical support to maintenance technicians and production staff.
• Lead efforts to reduce equipment downtime through proactive planning and collaboration.
• Audit and monitor maintenance systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain clear communication with production supervisors and across maintenance shifts regarding equipment status, temporary fixes, and planned repairs.
• Assist in managing major equipment outages, escalating to management as necessary.
• Support and enforce company policies and safety procedures.
• Ensure timely completion of all scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) tasks.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support maintenance and production goals.

Required:

• 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing:
• Electrical/electronic systems
• Pneumatics and hydraulics
• Preventive maintenance programs
• Skilled in the use of power tools, welding equipment, and precision measuring instruments.
• Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving ability.
• Proficient with maintenance tracking software, documentation, and reporting.
• Knowledge of corrective action planning, cost-saving initiatives, and basic computer skills.

Preferred:

• Basic programming/troubleshooting knowledge of A-B PLC controlled systems (certification a plus).
• Manufacturing/Engineering certification or degree.
• Experience with injection molding, blow molding, or compressed air equipment repair/troubleshooting.

As a Maintenance Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring reliability and efficiency across production operations—helping reduce downtime, streamline repairs, and support a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
