The Lead Electrical Assembly Technician will be required toleadtheelectricalassemblyofthe projects assigned to the team. Assembly Techniciansreportdirectlytotheassemblyteamleader,somemuchofthedirectionon projects can come from the Project Team Leader and Director of Operations. Assembly Technicianswillbeaskedtoassistwiththedevelopmentandtrainingofnewteammembers and work study students.
Responsibilities- Leadtheelectricalassemblyfor each team’s projects.
- Attendprojectmeetingsasrequestedbytheprojectteamleaderfromconcepttowrap-up.
- Workcloselywiththe Lead Mechanical Assembly Techthroughthebuild ,de-bug,and commissioning of the project.
Always supporting each other and the assembly techs. - Providemanufacturingsupport,assemblysupport,de-bug,andfinalqualificationofthe equipment.
- Workwithengineeringtoanswerquestionsandsolvedesignissues.
- I/Ocheck,programload,andmachinede-bugensuringthateachrequirementofthescopeis met, and the project milestone dates are maintained.
- Ensuretheprojectrequirementsaremetpriorto,andduringtheinternalandcustomerrun-offs.
- Providefieldsupportfornewinstallationsincludingstartupandfinaltuning.
Sometravelwill be required. - Abilitytoworkindependentlywhileeffectivelycoordinatingworkwithotherteammembers.
- Abilitytoworkonmultipleprojectsaswellasbeamember ofacrossfunctional team.
- Buildandmaintainstrongrelationshipswithteammembersandclients.
- Strongelectricalanalyticalskillstoassembleandtroubleshootindustrialmachines.
- Strongtimemanagementandteamleadershipskills.
- Proficiencyinreadingengineeringdrawingsandschematics.
- ProficiencyinreadingandeditingPLC,HMI,&robotprograms.
- Adaptabilitytochangingprojectrequirementsandschedules.
- Strongcommunicationskills,verbalandwritten
- Willingnesstolearnanddesiretocontributeaspartofadynamicandproductiveteam.
- Travel is required
