Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Responsibilities

• Medication and treatment administration.
• Checking residents per direct care staff concerns and post-incident.
• Completing documentation – 24‑hour report, nursing notes, medication administration record, and physician orders.
• Acting as a liaison with physicians by communicating residents’ medical concerns and informing the team of treatment recommendations.
• Attending medication reviews, admission/discharge, and special team meetings.
• Assisting with physical exams.
• Receiving a 60‑cent shift differential for any hours worked on the 2nd or 3rd shifts.
• Every other weekend off.
• Mandatory hours are required.

• Licensed Practical Nurse license issued by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
• Proof of completion of an approved medication‑administration course.
• Licensed Practical Nurses who administer dialysis must possess IV Therapy certification.

• Compensation: $27.27‑$30.10 per hour.
• Schedule:
  
  Part‑time.
• Work Hours:
  
  10:40 pm – 6:40 am.
• Shift differential: 60 cents on 2nd or 3rd shifts.
• Every other weekend off.
