Accounting - Non-Exempt, Non-Manager

Health Systems Management, Inc. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to manage financial transactions, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support the organization’s financial health. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and a solid understanding of GAAP.

• Perform month end closing for assigned clinics, including monthly bank reconciliation, monthly inventory reconciliation, monthly receivable reconciliation, other general ledger and related monthly closing activities, and internal financial statement preparation.
• Review clinics’ financial statements for reasonableness monthly, including general ledger transactions, cost per treatment, and monthly journal entries and reconciliation schedules.
• Manage accounts payable process for assigned clinics using accounting software and other programs which include invoice and payment processing and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
• Prepare supporting documentation and assist with annual external audits and regulatory filing requirements.
• Participate in special projects, ad hoc analyses, and other accounting duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required).
• 2-5 years of accounting experience (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience with accounting software systems (preferred).
