At least 2 years of experience within power distribution/utilities. High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Surveying, GIS, Construction Management, or related field preferred. Experience working in utility, telecommunications, construction, surveying, or field engineering environments. Comfortable performing both field and office work. Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
General knowledge of utility or telecommunications infrastructure. Experience with surveying and GPS data collection. Familiarity with Trimble, Katapult, or similar field collection technologies. Experience reading and interpreting utility maps, construction drawings, and engineering plans. Understanding of easement, right-of-way, and permitting processes. Exp with JETs, Specs, cradle to grave projects.
