About the OpportunityARK Hospitality is seeking an experienced and results-driven Regional Director of Operations (RDO) to oversee a growing portfolio of select-service, extended-stay, and focused-service hospitality assets across South Georgia and Central Alabama
.
This position provides executive-level operational leadership for a multi-property portfolio that includes branded hotels operating within both the Hilton and IHG family of brands, as well as a newer extended-stay lodging concept.
The Regional Director of Operations is responsible for maximizing operational performance, guest satisfaction, employee engagement, financial results, and brand compliance across the assigned region.
This role requires a strategic leader who is equally comfortable working with ownership, General Managers, sales leaders, revenue-management teams, and frontline associates.
Candidates should reside near, or be willing to relocate to, one of the following regions:
- Albany, Georgia Area
- Tifton, Georgia Area
- Montgomery / Prattville, Alabama Area
- Leesburg, Georgia Area
- Columbus, Georgia Area
Frequent travel between assigned hotels is required.
The Regional Director of Operations serves as the senior operational leader for multiple hotels and is responsible for:
- Driving financial performance
- Developing General Managers and property leaders
- Improving guest satisfaction
- Ensuring brand compliance
- Supporting revenue growth initiatives
- Creating accountability across the portfolio
- Lead and support multiple hotel General Managers and property leadership teams.
- Ensure consistent operational execution across all assigned hotels.
- Conduct routine property visits, inspections, and operational reviews.
- Develop and implement action plans to improve performance and guest satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, franchise requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
- Oversee capital improvement projects, renovations, property maintenance initiatives, and operational upgrades.
- Drive revenue growth, profitability, and financial accountability.
- Review property budgets, forecasts, labor costs, and strategic business plans.
- Monitor and improve key hotel performance metrics including:
- Occupancy
- ADR
- RevPAR
- GOP
- Labor Productivity
- Guest Satisfaction Scores
- Partner with General Managers and Revenue Management teams to create improvement strategies.
- Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and cost control.
- Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop General Managers and leadership teams.
- Create a culture centered on accountability, ownership, learning, and performance.
- Support succession planning and leadership development throughout the region.
- Assist with recruiting efforts for key operational positions.
