Die Corrector – Large Tonnage Presses
Responsibilities:
- Correction and maintenance of extrusion tools, ensuring quality extrusion at the correct speeds.
- Monitoring press production to identify flow inconsistencies and die performance in order to diagnose potential corrections in dies ranging from 246 to 596 mm in diameter on a 3,500-ton press, as well as on dies for 1,600- and 2,000-ton presses.
- Evaluation of profile proposals.
- Analysis of samples during the testing phase of new dies to determine dimensions and necessary corrections.
- Die cleaning using caustic soda, polishing, etc., as well as checking for cracks or excessive wear.
- Reading technical drawings and using precision measurement instruments.
- Candidates with proven previous experience in the aluminum extrusion sector and availability to join our plant in Tifton.
- Basic computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Knowledge of English is not required.
