Maintenance, Maintenance Technician ​/ Mechanic

Responsibilities

Under direct supervision, perform general preventative maintenance and simple repairs on manufacturing machines and mechanical equipment. Perform basic maintenance service and repairs, repairing or replacing defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools, reassembling equipment. Assist in diagnosing mechanical problems and determining how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary. Inspect drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, or perform other maintenance actions following checklists, and may assist with inspecting, operating, and testing machinery and equipment to diagnose malfunctions.

High school diploma or equivalent education and experience. 0-1 years related experience. Basic knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Basic knowledge of design techniques, tools, blueprints, drawings, and models. Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions. Must be able to move items weighing up to 50 lbs.

This is an hourly non-exempt role. Starting pay range: $ per hour. Overtime eligible after 40 hours per week. Factors that may affect starting pay include geography/market and skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.
