- Utilize strong organizational and leadership skills to assess resident status, implement clinical nursing interventions to modify symptoms, and develop and implement resident care plans to enhance and improve outcomes.
- Administer and document resident immunizations.
- Monitor, document, and report on antibiotic use.
- Monitor, document, and report on Bowel & Bladder program.
- Make rounds to ensure compliance with Infection Control standards and policies.
- Participate in Quarterly QAPI meetings.
- Active RN license in good standing in the state of practice.
- Formal working knowledge of Infection Control;
Infection Control experience is required. - Prior experience as LTC RN/LPN preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must complete Infection Preventionist course within 3 months of hire.
