Material Handler - Case Stocking

Material Handler
- Full Case Stocking 6PM

Primarily responsible for the support of the DC by, efficiently stocking inbound merchandise to designated locations in a timely manner.

Schedule:

Monday
- Friday 6 PM - 2 AM (3rd shift) Pay: $18.00 and up plus a shift differential. Specific responsibilities include:
Transferring merchandise by using a stand up reach truck, sit down forklift, stock picker and/or pallet jack from staging area to primary pick locations and back to stock locations. Operating a handheld scanner. Understanding the receiving label placed on the inbound merchandise to identify and place the merchandise into assigned locations. Identifying merchandise and maintaining primary pick locations. Accurately identifying units of measure for proper placement of merchandise.

Directly communicating with co-workers any identified location stocking errors. Meeting quality and productivity standards. Taking direction from Supervisor. Excellent attendance and reliable predictability a must. Adhering to DC housekeeping guidelines. Performing all other tasks and duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications include:
High School diploma preferred. Commitment to a high standard of safety and compliance with all safety policies and practices. Excellent attendance record. Willingness and ability to work overtime when needed. Good comprehension, organizational, and math skills. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Ability to interact effectively with other departments and all levels of management. Ability to maintain records accurately and demonstrate problem solving skills.

Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and to meet deadlines. Team player with a can do attitude. Power Equipment certification a plus. Ability to read, write, and speak English.
